Wow! A lightning storm just passed through and dropped down a ocean-full of much needed rain. The hail was, in my mother's opinion, a little excessive, but I thought it was fantastic! It sounded like a waterfall had opened over our house! My mother mentioned it sounded like our tomatoes and grapes pelted to a pulp, but I'm sure they'll be ok in the morning. The crickets are chirping now, so they survived! As did the digital TV signals, apparently. I can hear my dad listening to some freaky meow-meow song and giggling, gutturally...

Mmm... It smells so nice and Earthy and the breeze through my window has that sticky-cool feel.

Honestly, life doesn't get much better than this!


Note to self: Go on a walk tomorrow and save the sidewalk worms who've seen better times.

Note to self, number 2: Don't bring Josi. Judging by her exquisite taste in spiders it doesn't see too far-fetched to predict her tickling taste-buds tackling a new type of cuisine: Mmmmmm Annelids!
